Nostromo fue el alias con el que el músico italiano Salvatore Pagano (Brescia, 1952) -AKA Rick Salvatore, Jason Morelli, etc- firmó la gran mayoría de sus trabajos.

Luego de una fugaz carrera en la escena italodisco de los primeros 80s con su single “Love made the rules”, Pagano se concentró en la producción de bandas de sonido para proyectos cinematográficos de bajo presupuesto en países como Italia, Argentina, y Canadá. La gran mayoría de estos filmes finalmente no se concretaron o fracasaron rotundamente en lo comercial. Al finalizar sus intentos en la industria, alrededor de 1992, sus pasos se pierden en el anonimato.

Hoy, por un giro fortuito del destino, su obra comienza a salir a la luz…

Nostromo was the alias with which the Italian musician Salvatore Pagano (Brescia, 1952) -AKA Rick Salvatore, Jason Morelli, etc- signed the vast majority of his works.

After a brief career in the italodisco scene of the early 80s with his single "Love made the rules", Pagano concentrated on the production of soundtracks for low budget film projects in countries such as Italy, Argentina, and Canada. The great majority of these films did not materialize or failed completely in the commercial. At the end of his attempts in the industry, around 1992, his steps lost in anonymity.

Today, by a fortuitous turn of destiny, his work begins to come to light...
